We work at a gentle pace, guided by the belief that the things we live with every day should be thoughtful, useful, and quietly beautiful.Our designs are inspired by the landscape around us — the soft greens of the hills, the changing skies, and the sense of history woven into the Valleys. Wherever possible, we use materials carefully and responsibly, with a focus on low-waste making and long-lasting quality.This is not mass production. Community Projects and Crazy Ideas
At Stiwdio.Sycamore, making things doesn’t always mean starting from new.
We also reupholster, refurbish and reimagine furniture and spaces for community groups, charities and organisations.
It might be a well-used bench that needs a new life, furniture that can be repaired rather than replaced, or a piece that could become something colourful, welcoming and unique to a particular place.
We particularly love projects that have a community purpose — helping to create spaces where people can meet, belong, take part and feel at home.
Our approach is the same as everything we make: thoughtful, practical, creative and with as little waste as possible.
